Locally owned and operated, the Glockenspiel Restaurant and Pub opened with the goal of becoming the gathering place in Mt. Angel, a small Bavarian town in northwest Oregon, but it has already become much more. Set in the middle of town and named for the “Old World” glockenspiel tower it sits directly beneath, the restaurant is growing into the town’s “living room” and a favorite of locals and visitors alike.
Mt. Angel's 49 foot Glockenspiel celebrates the German-Swiss hertiage of the village and our celebrated Oktoberfest which is the 3rd weekend each September.
The clock on the tower is large and clearly visible, the bells are sharp and precise in their sound; however it is the beautiful, hand-carved and animated figures that attract attention.
Our performances are daily
11 am, 1 pm, 4 pm and 7 pm.
